The enterprise commercial platform

BuilderSolve vs Procore

Procore is enterprise commercial construction software, and for a general contractor running large commercial volume with a document-control burden to match, it is a serious tool that BuilderSolve does not try to replace. For a residential or light commercial builder, the gap is mostly cost and weight.

The short version

  1. Procore does not publish list pricing. It is quoted against annual construction volume, reported at roughly 0.1–0.2% of it, with implementation consulting reported separately at $10,000–$30,000.
  2. Its AI — Procore Assist and the Helix layer — is aimed at enterprise document and admin workflows. BuilderSolve’s drafts the job paperwork itself for approval.
  3. If your problem is that the office work is not getting done rather than that it is not being tracked, Procore does not solve that. BuilderSolve staffs it.

Where Procore is the better choice

  • The deepest commercial feature set here — RFIs, submittals, drawings and document control at a scale nothing else on this page matches.
  • The standard on large commercial projects, so owners, architects and large subs already work in it.
  • An extensive app marketplace and open API for integrating specialist tools.
  • If you are bidding institutional or large commercial work where the owner requires Procore, that requirement settles it.

Where BuilderSolve is different

  • The AI drafts the work, not just the summary. Ask about a job and it writes the change order, the daily log, the schedule shift or the time entry for you to approve or reject.
  • You can buy the people too. A trained construction team on the estimating, the paperwork and the books, for roughly 60% less than the same roles on your payroll — on the same contract as the software.
  • Setup includes custom coding. Migration, configuration and training, plus work on your specific workflows, inside 2–3 weeks.
  • We tell you what is not built. Purchase orders are in development, and it says so on the feature page rather than in a footnote after you have signed.

What each one costs

Procore

Not published. Quoted on annual construction volume, reported by third-party trackers at roughly 0.1–0.2% of it: about $4,500–$10,000 a year at the small-contractor end and $25,000–$60,000+ for mid-market and enterprise. Implementation consulting is reported at $10,000–$30,000 on top, and contractors report renewal increases of 5–14% a year.

BuilderSolve

Quoted on scope, with the number before you commit, and setup — migration, configuration, training and custom coding — included rather than a separate implementation engagement.
